My puppet short The Outsider won Best in Festival at Astoria Horrorfest: The Shiver on the River, held January 17–18, 2025 at the historic Columbian Theater in Astoria, Oregon. It’s the top honor at the festival, and a milestone I’m deeply proud of.
The Outsider is a dialogue-free, handmade puppet film in the dark-fantasy and horror vein — fifteen minutes, no words, with creatures and sets built by hand. Taking Best in Festival after screening in front of an enthusiastic horror crowd was an unforgettable way to celebrate the journey this little film has been on.
